In a statement, the Vatican said Bush had "warm" talks with the pope and the Vatican's No. 2 official, Cardinal Tarcisio
Bertone. They discussed international politics, particularly in the Middle East, the Israel-Palestinian conflict, Lebanon,
the "worrisome situation in Iraq" and the "critical conditions in which the Christian communities (in Iraq)
are found," the statement said Source: NPR reporting June 9, meeting.
We should ask, What purpose is served by jailing the border guards stopping the drug traffic that makes
our people zombies?
What purpose is served by letting our Christian brothers in Iraq be destroyed? In so doing we have
destroyed Iraq. Just as we destroy our own nation by persecuting the Christians here.
We need a Christian political party to keep this stuff from occuring. Part of the Platform of
Christians is, "protect Christians worldwide." There is no such interest in the two major political parties and
there never will be. One party wants only power, the other serves only wealth. The stakes are small for them.
The stakes are eternal for us. Do we care?
Preachers are orators. They should be able to raise, not a rabble, but an influential bunch of divinely
inspired charismatic leaders. These many not so fired up folks will follow in their politics.
Why did it take the Pope? Where was Rumsfeld on this issue? Where were our top commanders.
To Repo. party bigwigs and military Honchos, Christian issues are not issues.
Thanks to Pope Benedict XVI, and solely to him June 9, 2007 will go down in history with the day Queen Esther
dined with Ahasueris and won The life and future of the Jews in the Persian empire. For on June 9th, Pope Benedict won
over Bush to assist in the plight of the few remaining Christians of Iraq. Now, July 2, 2007 Religious freedom
is enshrined into Law in Iraq which goes from Government sponsor of persecution to Government tries to stop persecution.
This changes its's color on the Voice of the Martyrs map. Now the central government will have action against the Kurdish
North where the worst antiChristian persecution has and is taking place(Sorry kurds, a faulty U.N. report led to this misstatement
of facts. The Kurds, as we might have guessed, are the Christians refuge providing a safe harbor for them).
